There are a variety of wine tours to choose from in Margaret River. Our guests often tell us that they have previously been on structured tours with a wine guide, but now they prefer to choose their own adventure and have a personal driver service to take them and their friends to lunch and a winery or 2 before and after.
On a private tour with us, the itinerary is in your hands. We encourage you to get some reccomendations from friends and research on Google to come up with a list of wineries that you'd like to visit on the day. Booking in for tastings isn't always necessary for small groups, although keep in mind changing Covid rules as sometimes booking in may be the best option. Having a prebooked lunch appointment is a must, although often you can find a farmers platter, a cheese plate or other snack options on the day.
One of the many benefits of having a private wine tour is that we can visit some of the more intimate boutique wineries that you would never see on a minibus tour.
The Margaret River "small family wine tasting trail " consists of some less well known wineries that may not come up on Google. Cape Grace Wines, Arlewood Estate, Victory Point and Brownhill Estate are some of our guest favourites of the smaller vineyards. You can find out more about the wineries of Margaret River in our wine blog
Some of our guest favourites for lunch are -
Black Brewing, Vasse Felix, Voyager Estate, Leeuwin Estate, Cowaramup Brewery, Beerfarm and Rustico at Hay Shed Hill. More lunch options can be found in our wine blog.
For wine tastings, guests have had great feedback from -
Cape Grace Wines, Cherubino, The Grove Distillery, LS Merchants, Blind Corner, Skigh Wines, Knotting Hill, Stella Bella and Arlewood Estate and many others
Remember that Margaret River Region isn't just about wine tasting. In the morning, some of our guests like to visit one of the many attractions of the South-West for some happy snaps like Mammoth Cave, Eagles Heritage Raptor Wildlife Centre, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, Hamelin Bay to see the Stingrays, Sunflowers Animal Farm or one of the many activities the region has to offer.
Our service is door to door from Dunsborough, Yallingup, Busselton, Augusta and just about anywhere in the Margaret River Wine Region.
